Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer – Electrical & Electronics to manage and maintain electrical, electronic, automation and production machinery systems in our manufacturing plant.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, machine troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, control panels, PLC, sensors, motors, drives and industrial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day electrical and electronic maintenance of production machinery and plant equipment.
• Attend and resolve electrical and electronic machine breakdowns with minimum downtime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of machines and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain:
• AC/DC motors
• VFD / drives
• PLC systems
• Sensors and proximity switches
• Relays, contactors and timers
• Control panels
• SMPS and power supply systems
• Temperature controllers
• Industrial wiring and electrical circuits
• Diagnose faults in PLC-controlled machines and automation systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical control panels, MCC panels and distribution systems.
• Carry out electrical inspection, testing and rectification of machine-related issues.
• Support installation, commissioning and shifting of new machines and equipment.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely resolution of machine breakdowns.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, preventive maintenance schedules and spare-parts records.
• Monitor critical electrical spare parts and coordinate with stores/purchase for timely availability.
• Identify recurring machine problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with factory safety procedures and electrical safety standards.
• Assist in maintaining electrical safety, earthing, panels, cables, lighting and other plant electrical infrastructure.
• Coordinate with external technicians/vendors for specialized machine repairs when required.
• Support audits and provide required maintenance-related records and documents.
• Train operators on basic machine care and identification/reporting of electrical abnormalities.

Required Technical Skills:

Candidates should have hands-on knowledge of:

• Electrical troubleshooting

• VFD / AC drives
• Motors and starters
• Sensors and proximity switches
• Control panels
• Contactors, relays and timers
• Electrical wiring and circuit diagrams
• MCC / PCC panels
• Preventive & breakdown maintenance

• Basic instrumentation and electronics
• Electrical safety and earthing systems

Preferred Experience:

Experience in manufacturing industries, particularly in packaging, paper, printing, converting, FMCG, automobile, engineering or similar production environments, will be preferred.

Experience with paper bag / printing / converting / taping / E-commerce or similar production machinery will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 5–7+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting ability.
• Should be capable of independently handling electrical and electronic breakdowns.
• Good understanding of industrial automation and machine control systems.
• Should be comfortable working in a manufacturing/factory environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work with production, quality and maintenance teams.
• Candidates from Harohalli, Kanakapura, Anekal, Jigani, Bengaluru and nearby areas may be preferred.

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing / factory environment.
• Will be responsible for supporting production requirements and attending machine breakdowns as required.
• Shift flexibility may be required depending on production and maintenance requirements.

Salary

₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on relevant experience, technical skills and interview performance.
