Job Summary

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer – Fire & Safety Systems to manage and coordinate AMC and preventive maintenance activities at client sites across Abu Dhabi.

The role involves site inspections, troubleshooting, technician supervision, client coordination, PPM activities, technical reporting, and support for Abu Dhabi Civil Defense (ADCD) inspections and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate AMC and preventive maintenance activities.
• Conduct site inspections and check fire and life-safety systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot fire alarm, firefighting, fire pumps, hydrants, hose reels, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and related systems.
• Identify technical issues, defects, and rectification requirements.
• Supervise technicians and coordinate site activities.
• Review PPM, inspection, service, and rectification reports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, facility management teams, and site personnel.
• Support ADCD maintenance contracts, inspections, documentation, and rectification requirements.
• Prepare technical details and support quotations for additional works.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable UAE Civil Defense requirements and relevant NFPA standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline – Mandatory.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in fire & safety systems, AMC, or a related field.
• ADCD inspection handling experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates who have the required engineering qualification/eligibility to apply for and obtain the relevant ADCD approval/qualification may also be considered.
• Good knowledge of fire alarm, firefighting, fire pump, sprinkler, hydrant, and other life-safety systems.
• Knowledge of UAE Civil Defense requirements and NFPA standards is preferred.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence – Mandatory.
• Willingness to travel independently to multiple client sites in Abu Dhabi and other Emirates.

Preferred Candidate Profile

An Electrical Engineer with UAE fire & safety / AMC experience, ADCD inspection experience or eligibility to obtain the required qualification, and a valid UAE driving licence.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
