Maintenance Engineer (Precast/concrete manufacturing machine)

Job Responsibilities

Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for precast production machinery.

Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and minimize production downtime.

Inspect and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Monitor equipment condition and performance and recommend repairs, replacements, or upgrades.

Supervise equipment installation, alignment, dismantling, and commissioning.

Manage maintenance records, spare parts, tools, and consumables.

Coordinate with contractors and equipment suppliers for repairs and technical support.

Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.

Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, production efficiency, and maintenance costs.

Ensure maintenance activities comply with WSH, safety, and environmental requirements.

Train technicians and maintenance staff on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures.

Work closely with Production, QA/QC, Safety, and Project teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted precast production.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in large-scale construction or precast concrete production environments.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software.

Hands-on experience with concrete batching plants, mixers, conveyors, moulding equipment, pumps, compressors, and lifting systems is an advantage.

Good knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
