Maintenance Engineering (Offshore)

Requirements

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience. Experience in offshore, marine, or terminal/tank farm environments is highly preferred. Diploma in Maintenance Engineering with relevant experience can be considered
• Mobility: Full willingness to travel frequently in Singapore for work site visiting.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical equipment integrity, tank refurbishment processes, and safety protocols (Confined Space, Hazardous Waste).
• Digital Productivity: High proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets for tracking, Word/Docs for reports, PowerPoint/Slides for presentations).
• Communication: Excellent digital communication skills, including professional emailing and virtual meeting platforms (Teams/Zoom) to collaborate seamlessly across regional borders.

Your Jobs:

• Project Coordination & Liaison: Act as the primary technical bridge between the Malaysia operations team and the Singapore Headquarters. Travel frequently to work sites in Singapore for project planning and reporting.

• Maintenance & Repair: Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance for tank farms, associated piping, and rotating/static equipment.

• Supplier & Site Management: Travel within Malaysia to visit suppliers, oversee parts/material procurement, and help with mechanical works.

• Safety & Compliance Oversight: Enforce strict confined space entry and hazardous waste management protocols during tank cleaning and fixing operations.

• Technical Documentation: Prepare Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and project progress reports for review by HQ.

• Weekly HQ Sync: Present progress updates and resource requirements directly to management .

• Supplier Tracking: Coordinate shipping timelines and part specifications weekly with material suppliers across Malaysia.

• Daily Work Logs: Compile detailed daily site logs documenting maintenance progress, manpower usage, and any engineering bottlenecks.

• Post-Cleaning & Incident Reports: Draft comprehensive technical reports following tank cleaning and fixing operations, including before-and-after photos and thickness measurement data.

• Supplier & Procurement Reporting: Generate supplier evaluation sheets and part-conformance reports after conducting vendor site audits.

• Management Presentations: Prepare and compile monthly project status reports and variance analysis to present to the Singapore management team.

• Office Productivity Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets for tracking project timelines, Word/Docs for report drafting, and PowerPoint/Slides for presentations).

• Digital Communication: Strong command of professional emails, virtual meeting platforms (Teams/Zoom), and cloud sharing tools to seamlessly collaborate with the Singapore HQ.
