Maintenance Environmental System Tech-Facilities Engineering; 80hrs Biweekly, Evenings

Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Summary Maintains heating/ventilation/air conditioning/refrigeration systems according to blueprints/engineering specifications, and by using knowledge of pneumatic controls/piping systems. Operates electronically-controlled environmental systems. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System. Qualifications Required:

• HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• P ossess a current Refrigerant Handling Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 Universal Certification.
• Meets one of the following:
• Possess a HVAC license for the State of Ohio.
• Possess a HVAC Journeyman’s License for the State of Ohio.
• Documented 8 years of HVAC experience/vocational training.
• 4 years of documented experience in HVAC, including repairing industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Possess a current, valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to read and utilize blue prints.
• Solid problem solving skills, and able to use sound judgment.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Basic personal computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work independently/with minimal supervision, or as part of a team.
• Willing and able to adjust from the standard work schedule as needed for operational coverage, including days that are not normally worked, and at locations not normally assigned.

Preferred

• Possess a Third-Class Stationary Engineers License for the State of Ohio.
• Prior Healthcare industry experience.

Physical Requirements
