Job Description: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: Itanagar

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, uninterrupted, and efficient operations of the cinema premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and electrical panels.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out repairs as required.
• Maintain and monitor DG sets, UPS, power backup systems, and related electrical equipment.
• Ensure proper functioning of cinema screens, projection-related electrical systems, HVAC electrical components, and other operational equipment.
• Monitor electricity consumption and identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
• Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and records of repairs.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for major electrical repairs.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 25 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in cinemas, hotels, malls, or commercial establishments.
• Practical knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and the use of maintenance tools.
