2SP Sports is a sports performance and rental facility serving kids, families, and athletes year-round. Our facilities include turf fields, gym spaces, and common areas. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep our spaces safe, clean, and operating at a high standard.

Position Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for general maintenance, repairs, janitorial duties, and upkeep across 2SP facilities. This role helps provide a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for athletes, guests, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Perform janitorial duties at the Madison Heights facility twice per week and the 2SP Fieldhouse twice per week, including cleaning and maintaining training spaces, restrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain turf areas and gym spaces as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown when required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance storage areas.
• Follow safety procedures and help keep facilities compliant with applicable requirements.
• Respond to urgent maintenance issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between our facilities is required
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Preferred, But Not Required

• Prior experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, or janitorial work.
• HVAC or trade certifications.
