Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing systems, and mechanical devices to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and Ohmmeters to diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently.
• Conduct building interior maintenance such as painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and general facilities upkeep to enhance the aesthetic appeal and safety of the environment.
• Repair and maintain electrical equipment and systems, including troubleshooting electrical issues with schematics or electrical testing tools.
• Manage plumbing system maintenance—address leaks, clogs, pipe repairs, and fixture replacements—ensuring all plumbing functions correctly.
• Oversee HVAC system repair tasks such as filter replacement, duct cleaning, or minor system adjustments to maintain climate control comfort.
• Supervise or assist with maintenance projects requiring welding or specialized mechanical skills; provide leadership when overseeing junior team members or contractors.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed and parts used; ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of facilities maintenance including HVAC systems, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment essential for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
• Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) or similar automation systems is a plus.
• Strong welding skills combined with experience in electrical equipment repair and HVAC system servicing.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics and diagrams accurately for complex repairs.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge paired with practical experience in building interior maintenance tasks such as painting or carpentry.
• Leadership qualities with prior supervising experience in maintenance environments; capable of guiding team members effectively.
• Fluency in English for clear communication with team members and residents alike.
• Customer service orientation—dedicated to addressing needs promptly while maintaining professionalism.
