Maintenance Handyman

We are looking for a skilled, reliable Maintenance Handyman to handle a wide variety of general maintenance, repair, and improvement projects.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who is comfortable working across multiple trades and can tackle everything from routine repairs to larger maintenance projects.

Required Qualifications

The following are required:

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Own tools suitable for general maintenance and repair work
• Previous hands-on experience in maintenance, handyman work, construction, property maintenance, or a related field
• Ability to work independently and complete projects in a timely, professional manner
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate should have experience in several of the following areas:

• Carpentry — repairs, trim, doors, framing, drywall, cabinets, shelving, etc.
• Plumbing — faucets, toilets, sinks, valves, minor leaks, and general repairs
• Minor electrical — fixtures, switches, outlets, basic troubleshooting, and repairs within applicable regulations
• Tile — installation and repair of ceramic, porcelain, and other tile
• Flooring — vinyl, laminate, wood, and other common flooring materials
• Drywall — patching, repairs, finishing, and installation
• General maintenance and repairs
• Doors, locks, hardware, fixtures, cabinets, shelving, and installations
• Basic exterior maintenance and repairs
• General troubleshooting and problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and property maintenance
• Diagnose problems and determine the appropriate repair
• Complete carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical, tile, flooring, drywall, and general repair work
• Install and repair doors, cabinets, shelving, fixtures, and hardware
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Maintain and properly use your tools and equipment
• Communicate professionally regarding project status, materials, and any issues encountered
• Complete work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Perform other maintenance and repair duties as needed

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who can show up with their own tools, assess a problem, figure out what needs to be done, and get the job done correctly.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
