Maintenance Head (Manufacturing)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing maintenance activities: mechanical projects, workshops, motorpool/heavy equipment, mechanical safety,  scheduling of maintenance works, maintenance of plant facilities, spare parts management, maintenance staff, and providing guidance, including providing training to staff.
• Managing  conditioning-based monitoring inspections (temperature, vibration, leaks, alignments, abnormal sounds, etc.) with record data for trend analysis and reliability improvement
• Managing schedule monthly shutdown inspections (bearings, shafts, chains, alignment, etc.).
• Managing the lubrication program
• Implementing and maintaining Policies, Maintenance KPI, Procedures/SOPs for designing, testing, installing, and maintaining mechanical facilities, all types of mechanical checklists, and level inspections, including the maintenance PSM.
• Managing Maintenance Budgets, including creating annual budgets.
• Coordinating shutdown activities, installation, repairs, etc.
• Creating detailed Work Instructions (WI) for all the activities or implementing existing WI
• Updating documentations such as as-built plans, SOP, WI, procedures, etc.
• Planning/Development strategies to increase productivity and improve operations, including KAIZEN initiatives
• Communicating with other departments
• Ensuring KPI are met and creating a cost reduction program
• Coordinates the processing of government permits, such as boiler and other government-mandatory permits
• Submitting reports required by the Management, including recommendations for improvement with proper costing and justifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance, preferably in crushing plants or heavy industrial equipment.
• Strong hands-on background in field monitoring and supervision of critical maintenance tasks.
• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Solid knowledge of lubrication systems, conveyors, gearboxes, crushers, boilers, and other heavy equipment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and skilled in using diagnostic tools.
• Willing to work in Bo. Nabilid, Zamboanga del Norte
