Maintenance Helper

Job Summary

We are looking for a Maintenance Helper who will assist the Maintenance Manager and maintenance team in daily maintenance activities, repairs, painting, welding, and general upkeep of company facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Manager in carrying out daily maintenance activities and assigned tasks.
• Assist in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Assist with painting and repainting of equipment, structures, walls, and other company facilities.
• Assist in basic welding and fabrication work under proper supervision.
• Prepare and organize tools, materials, and equipment needed for maintenance work.
• Assist in minor repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
• Perform cleaning and housekeeping of maintenance areas.
• Report damaged equipment, facility concerns, and other maintenance issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Follow proper 5S, safety procedures, and PPE requirements at all times.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least High School Graduate; vocational/technical training is an advantage.
• With previous maintenance experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of welding and welding tools/equipment.
• Knowledge or experience in painting is an advantage.
• Willing to assist in basic welding, fabrication, repair, and maintenance activities.
• Willing and able to climb ladders and work in elevated areas when required.
• Comfortable working at heights and not afraid of heights.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on maintenance work.
• Able to follow instructions and work under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.
• Hardworking, responsible, reliable, and willing to learn.
• Safety-conscious and willing to follow company rules and regulations.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment.
