Job Summary

Mayura Packaging Private Limited is looking for a responsible and technically skilled Maintenance Incharge to oversee the mechanical and electrical maintenance of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, preventive maintenance, breakdown handling, and maintenance of production machinery and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day mechanical and electrical maintenance activities at the plant.
• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and equipment-related issues.
• Ensure minimum machine downtime through timely maintenance and breakdown resolution.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of Mechanical Engineers, Electricians, Technicians and maintenance staff.
• Monitor the condition and performance of machinery, motors, pumps, compressors, electrical panels and other plant equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, control panels, motors and related equipment.
• Handle mechanical maintenance including bearings, gearboxes, belts, chains, pumps and other machine components.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with production and other departments for planned maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper availability and usage of maintenance tools, spare parts and consumables.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure safe maintenance practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery and electrical equipment.
• Experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment will be preferred.
• Good team-handling, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work at our Palladam manufacturing facility.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
