Maintenance Injection Molding Technician

Job Qualification/Requirement:

1. Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
2. Experience in injection molding maintenance.
3. Strong knowledge of injection molding machines.
4. Understanding of PLC, sensors, limit switches, heaters, and thermocouples.
5. Ability to troubleshoot machine alarms and electrical faults.
6. 2–3 years of experience for Technician-level roles OR more than 5 years of experience for Senior level roles.

Job Description:

1.     Responsibility for all injection molding machine and peripheral equipment of safety operation, preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting and spare part management.

2.     Oversee all aspects of Robot automation system including setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and spare part arrangement.

3.     To prepare breakdown analysis and improvement action to prevent breakdown recurring.

4.     To prepare and perform daily documentation that can be used for Quality Control, traceability and

ensure reproducibility.

5.     Communicate with production leader or IPQC when you discover issues in the production process or products that don’t meet specific standards or machine failure.

6.     Maintaining a clean work environment.

7.     Maintaining good documentation practices.

8.     Leadership role in Kaizen improvement and cost reduction activities.

9.     Mandatory compliance to all requirements as per Quality Management System (IATF 16949), Environment Management System (ISO 14001) & Safety Management System (ISO 45001).

10.  To carry out any other duties which are not specified herein as and when required as directed by your immediate superior.
