What they need
Job Role Overview: Maintenance intern helps keep factory machines running smoothly by assisting technicians and engineers.
- Core Tasks:
- Help perform preventive maintenance (checking, cleaning, and oiling machines).
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical or electrical faults.
- Record maintenance logs, repair histories, and daily production data.
- Support 5S (workplace organization) and continuous improvement projects.
- Common Requirements:
- Currently studying for Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of tools and industrial systems.
- Willingness to work hands-on in a manufacturing factory floor environment.
- Maintain and manage maintenance tools and spare parts, including requisition and purchase requests for maintenance requirements.
Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
