Maintenance Manager

About the role

This is a maintenance management position responsible for developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, planning corrective and emergency maintenance activities, and ensuring machinery, utilities, and facilities are maintained in safe and operational condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Plan and coordinate corrective and emergency maintenance activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure machinery, utilities, and facilities are maintained in safe and operational condition.
• Analyze equipment breakdowns and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, tools, and external contractors.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs, maintenance costs, downtime, and equipment availability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to minimize operational disruptions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
• Prepare maintenance reports and present performance updates to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good understanding of maintenance KPIs and cost control.
• Experience in managing maintenance teams and contractors.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to urgent maintenance issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
• Good command of English is preferred.
