MAINTENANCE MANAGER

JOB TITLE: MAINTENANCE MANAGER

*JOB SUMMARY:*

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, ensuring maximum uptime of machinery, equipment, and facilities, and leading the maintenance team to achieve efficient and safe operations.

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*

*1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:*

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule for all machines, generators, and utilities

• Oversee corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime

• Ensure all production machines are in optimal working condition

*2. Team Leadership:*

• Lead, supervise and train maintenance technicians, electricians, and fitters

• Assign daily tasks, shifts, and monitor performance

• Organize toolbox talks and technical training for team

*3. Equipment & Facility Management:*

• Manage maintenance of production equipment, HVAC, generators, compressors, boilers, chillers, plumbing, electrical systems

• Manage building facilities and infrastructure maintenance

• Ensure availability of spare parts and tools

*4. Budget & Cost Control:*

• Prepare and manage maintenance budget

• Control maintenance costs, optimize spare parts usage

• Source vendors, negotiate prices for spare parts and services

*5. HSE & Compliance:*

• Enforce strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental regulations

• Ensure LOTO, PPE usage, and safety procedures are followed

• Maintain safety records and conduct risk assessments

*6. Reporting & Documentation:*

• Maintain maintenance logs, job cards, breakdown reports, PPM records

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly maintenance reports for management

• Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance history

*REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:*

• BSc/HND/B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 5-8 years proven experience as Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Engineer in a Manufacturing / FMCG / Factory environment

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems

• Experience with generators, compressors, production machines, and utility equipment

• Good leadership, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

• Knowledge of TPM, 5S, GMP, HSE standards

• Must be able to work under pressure and respond to emergencies

Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
