Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with corrugated manufacturing experience to lead our maintenance department and support the safe, reliable operation of our production equipment.

This position is responsible for leading and developing the maintenance team, overseeing preventive maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and working closely with production and management to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on maintenance experience within the corrugated packaging industry, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to effectively lead a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support the maintenance team
• Plan, assign, and prioritize daily maintenance work
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues
• Provide hands-on support for equipment repairs and breakdowns when needed
• Ensure maintenance issues and equipment breakdowns are addressed promptly to minimize production downtime
• Work closely with production supervisors and management to identify recurring equipment issues and improve equipment reliability
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance records
• Manage maintenance parts, tools, and equipment
• Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers as needed
• Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures
• Train, coach, and develop maintenance team members
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance department

Qualifications

• Corrugated manufacturing experience required
• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
• Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Familiarity with corrugated manufacturing equipment and production processes
• Ability to diagnose equipment problems and determine appropriate repairs
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize maintenance needs in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to work both independently and alongside the maintenance team
• Technical certifications or vocational training are a plus

Schedule

• Full-time
• Day shift
• Additional hours or overtime may be required based on production and maintenance needs
