Spartanburg SCHEDL Automotive is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager. We’re looking for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, brings a positive attitude to work each day and is ready to get started.

As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations within our plant. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards. This is a cross-functional role that requires coordination between many different teams.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize CMMS to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Planning and tracking all preventative maintenance.
• Overseeing the maintenance team work schedules, and ensuring timely completion of assignment.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians/engineers to diagnose and resolve equipment failures promptly; serve as on-site expert and escalation contact.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Support day-to-day operations and be hands-on in problem solving, equipment troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Provide training to maintenance staff on safe work practices and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Train, and mentor maintenance technicians/engineers to build a skilled and motivated team.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to ensure high standards of performance and accountability.
• Develop training programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of maintenance personnel.

Qualifications and Skills

• 10 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• 5 years of experience leading maintenance teams.
• Associate Degree
• Experience with Siemens PLCs and Beckhoff PLCs.
• Knowledge of general manufacturing processes, automation, and controls.
• Proficient with common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Effective verbal and written communications skills along with strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred, Black Belt/Green Belt certification.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Capable of providing constructive feedback to subordinates.
