Maintenance Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement at our manufacturing facility in West Coxsackie, NY . In this role, you’ll have a direct impact on equipment reliability, production performance, safety, and cost , while leading a highly skilled maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the day-to-day maintenance function, including equipment, tools, facilities, fire protection/security systems, and grounds.
• Build and manage a proactive preventive and predictive maintenance program to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Lead, develop, and train a highly technical maintenance team while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Operations and the Kaizen Promotion Office to identify and resolve equipment issues, investigate incidents, and improve plant performance.
• Oversee troubleshooting, repair, installation, adjustment, and inspection of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Manage maintenance costs, resources, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Establish and improve maintenance processes and procedures to support production schedules and operational goals.
• Track and improve key Maintenance KPIs, including OEE, PM completion, work order completion, equipment downtime, and reliability .
• Ensure compliance with company safety programs and applicable OSHA and other health and safety regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement programs that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–7+ years of manufacturing/maintenance experience , including experience leading highly technical maintenance teams.
• 5+ years of experience with safety and risk programs .
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing ; Green Belt preferred.
• Electrical certification is a plus.
• Strong planning, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across the organization.
