Maintenance Manager

Our client is a food manufacturing and processing company that produces dairy alternatives, milk-based and beverage ingredients (such as condensed milk, evaporated milk, and creamers), and provides OEM/ODM services for food and beverage brands.

They focus on mass production using modern technology, supports product development and packaging for customers, and supplies products to cafés, beverage businesses, and global markets.

Position: Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and managing the maintenance team (8 technicians) to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and continuous operation of production equipment. This role focuses on UHT and aseptic processing systems, with strong involvement in Tetra Pak machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of 8 maintenance technicians, including planning, training, and performance management
• Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of UHT and aseptic processing equipment, including Tetra Pak filling and processing lines
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues related to mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure machine reliability and product safety standards (especially for aseptic processes)
• Manage spare parts inventory, control maintenance costs, and optimize resource utilization
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and company safety policies
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities (e.g., TPM, Kaizen)
• Coordinate with external vendors and Tetra Pak service providers for major repairs and upgrades
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and KPIs (downtime, MTBF, MTTR)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience, preferably in food or beverage manufacturing
• Proven experience managing a maintenance team (at least 5–10 technicians)
• Strong hands-on experience with UHT processing and aseptic systems
• Familiarity with Tetra Pak equipment (processing and/or filling lines)
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, TPM, and continuous improvement tools
• Good understanding of automation, PLC systems, and industrial controls
• Experience in food safety standards such as GMP, HACCP, ISO/FSSC
