Maintenance Manager

PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Serang Mill is Paper Manufacture, part of Asia Pulp Paper. Located in Serang - Banten, our manufacturing complex spans 550 hectares and operates with a production capacity of more than 1,000 tons per day. The main products of PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper, Serang Mill are packaging papers. Our mill is equipped with advanced paper machines that are fully capable of supporting large-scale production requirements.

Join our team as a Maintenance Manager, leading maintenance strategy and execution to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, optimize maintenance cost, drive continuous improvement, and develop a high-performing maintenance team within our paper mill operations.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Master's Degree (S2) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or other relevant Engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Maintenance, Engineering, or related manufacturing functions, with several years in a Managerial role.
• Experience in FMCG or Paper manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Strong technical exposure in one or more of the following areas: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Utility, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems, preventive maintenance, reliability improvement, and troubleshooting.
• Experience handling shutdowns, CAPEX projects, equipment modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
• Familiarity with SAP PM, CMMS, or similar maintenance management systems.
• Good understanding of maintenance budgeting, cost control, spare part management, and contractor management.
• Strong knowledge of Safety, ISO, SMK3, and manufacturing compliance standards.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Descriptions :

• Lead overall maintenance activities within the assigned area, covering mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utility equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Drive improvement in OEE, MTBF, MTTR, downtime, and maintenance effectiveness.
• Lead maintenance planning and execution for shutdown, overhaul, and major maintenance activities.
• Manage CAPEX and engineering improvement projects, from problem identification and technical evaluation through execution and commissioning.
• Ensure effective implementation of maintenance systems such as SAP PM / CMMS and maintenance performance monitoring.
• Manage maintenance costs, spare parts, inventory, and external contractors while ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Identify recurring equipment issues and lead root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, ISO, SMK3, environmental, and other applicable plant standards.
• Develop and lead the maintenance team through coaching, performance management, capability building, and succession planning.
