Maintenance Manager

About the role

ELJIN CORPORATION is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team in Tarlac City, Tarlac. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency and safety of our manufacturing and logistics operations. As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, managing a team of technicians, and implementing preventative maintenance programmes that minimise downtime and maximise operational productivity. This role is integral to our continued success and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance activities across manufacturing and logistics facilities
• Manage, supervise and develop a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training and performance management
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation and compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Budget for maintenance operations, including materials, equipment and labour costs
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and safety audits to identify potential issues before they become critical problems
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal operational disruption
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external contractors for specialised maintenance services
• Monitor equipment performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance department

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance management within manufacturing, logistics or heavy industrial environments
• Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance teams and implementing preventative maintenance programmes
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, machinery and mechanical systems
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and computer systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including ISO standards and industry best practices
• Budget management and cost control experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Preferred experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
