Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Engineering Department and ensure efficient maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and monitor Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems.
• Lead, train, and supervise engineering team members and work schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, audits, and emergency response procedures.
• Drive energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate vendors, manage engineering stores, and conduct regular inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the engineering field, specifically within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address engineering challenges.
• Familiarity with industry-specific standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia will be considered.
