About the Opportunity

I'm partnering with an established manufacturing organization in Lincoln, Nebraska, to identify an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations, improve equipment reliability, and drive continuous improvement.

We're looking for a hands-on leader who understands the demands of a manufacturing environment and knows how to build a strong maintenance team while keeping operations running safely and efficiently.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, developing people, and making a meaningful impact on plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance professionals.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, and CMMS activities.
• Drive equipment reliability, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and equipment improvement projects.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and established safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience supervising or managing maintenance teams.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience implementing and managing preventive maintenance programs.
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance planning, and reliability practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PLCs, industrial automation, and equipment reliability programs is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
