Position Summary:

MAINTENANCE REPRESENTATIVE

Position Summary: Maintenance Representatives are responsible for keeping our hotel running smoothly and making sure everything is looking sharp in the hotel. Maintenance Representatives will be responsible for anything from simple repairs to major projects in the hotel. Maintenance Representatives should be forward thinking and have the physical ability to be on their feet throughout the day. Maintenance Representatives must have the ability to work a physically demanding role and must be available to work on-call in order to handle emergencies. Maintenance Representatives should ensure that our hotel maintains a high standard and all guests are satisfied during their stay. Maintenance Representatives must have a flexible schedule and must be able to work weekends or holidays, if needed.

Your day-to-day:

 Repair and replace items around the hotel, and refurbish items in guest rooms.

 Organize supplies and make sure equipment is ready for the next day.

 Live up to high safety standards and follow all guidelines in order to ensure safety for all guests and co-workers.

 Take responsibility for the safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel, including the parking lot and pool area.

 Perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs.  Perform routine plumbing and administrative repairs.

 Conduct preventative maintenance in order to keep everything working and efficient at all times.

 Always keep an eye out for improvements and preventative maintenance opportunities.  Be a friendly face and helping hand to our guests.

 Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised and maintain high standards, while being sensitive to time deadlines.

 Must be able to lift 50lb comfortably.

 Perform other duties as assigned to you.

 Must follow and complete daily checklist provided by the General Manager
