Maintenance Mechanic

The Science Team at Russell Tobin and Associates is hiring a "Maintenance Mechanic III" for a top biotechnology company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production, utility, HVAC, refrigeration, and process equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment to minimize downtime.
• Develop maintenance job plans, procedures, and work instructions.
• Manage spare parts recommendations and CMMS work orders.
• Support equipment startups, contractor activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Respond to facility alarms and coordinate maintenance activities with cross-functional teams.
• Utilize CMMS (SAP), DCS, PLC, and Building Automation Systems to support maintenance operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma with 5+ years of relevant GMP/industry experience, or an associate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in cGMP biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of DCS, PLC, Building Automation Systems, and CMMS (SAP).
• Proven troubleshooting experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.

Additional Information:

• Location: Holly Springs, NC (100% onsite)
• Duration: 6-month contract
• Schedule: Standard business hours (occasional off-shift support)
• Pay: $38–$44/hour (DOE)
