Maintenance Mechanic

Ambassador Personnel is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for the Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point, NC area. This is a direct hire opportunity with benefits, paid time off, holiday pay, 401k and $2,000 sign on bonus.

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will conduct preventative, predictive and emergency maintenance to production equipment and the facility. The ideal Maintenance Technician will have experience in a multi-craft, industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Performs scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdowns. Troubleshoots, repairs, replaces worn parts, motors, control devices, etc.
• Operates machine shop equipment, hand tools, power tools, and makes required parts when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, PLCs, wiring, controls, HVAC, etc. up to 480v.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required: Additionally, trade school, vocational school, or technical degree, or equivalent military training, or at least 45 college credit hours may be substituted for vocational/technical training, or successful completion of the AIB "Science of Baking" correspondence course.
• 3-5 years in a multi-craft manufacturing environment.
• Good problem-solving skills.
