What they need
Are you an experienced industrial mechanic looking to join a growing, fast-paced manufacturing facility, A3 Glass Fabricator is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to keep our production lines moving. In this role, you will be the backbone of our plant operations, responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical issues, and executing preventative repairs on specialized glass processing machinery. If you have a knack for heavy industrial equipment and want a stable role with a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections, servicing, and calibration on heavy glass fabrication machinery (e.g., cutting tables, edging/seaming machines, washing machines, and tempering/insulating glass lines) to prevent costly downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical faults quickly when equipment goes down, executing safe and efficient repairs.
- Component Overhauls: Replace worn-out bearings, belts, motors, pumps, sensors, and valves, ensuring high precision standards required for glass processing.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized work area and strictly adhere to all OSHA and facility safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain clear maintenance logs, track spare parts inventory, and report recurring equipment issues to plant management.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Millwright, or Equipment Technician in a manufacturing, production, or heavy industrial environment (glass, stone, or metal fabrication experience is a massive plus!).
- Solid working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with industrial electrical troubleshooting (control panels, sensors, VFDs, AC/DC motors).
- A hands-on, problem-solving attitude with the physical stamina to lift heavy tools and stand/move for extended periods.
- Reliable work ethic and availability for routine maintenance scheduling
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
Benefits:
