Maintenance Mechanic

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our equipment and machinery. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment and vehicles to support our operational needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with excavators, power drills, trucks, and diesel engines, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy machinery including excavators, trucks, and diesel engines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and expertise to identify root causes efficiently.
• Repair or replace faulty components on equipment such as excavators, power drills, trucks, and diesel engines to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine lubrication, adjustments, and calibration to ensure machinery operates at peak performance.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation for all repairs and inspections performed.
• Collaborate with operational teams to schedule maintenance activities that align with production schedules.
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in an industrial or construction setting.
• Hands-on experience working with excavators, power drills, trucks, and diesel engines is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical components related to heavy machinery.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety procedures and best practices in equipment maintenance.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
