About the Role:

Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader, you will be part of a team of mechanical trade persons working on automated high-volume production equipment. Based within the Engineering/Maintenance Team, you would undertake project work, day-to-day maintenance tasks, repairs, troubleshooting and servicing.

The position is on dayshift, four days a week, (predominately Tuesday – Friday) 10 hours per shift with overtime on 5th day as required (typically 5 – 10 hours).

Key criteria required:

·         Australian recognised Mechanical Trade qualifications

·         General machining, fitting, and welding skills

• Diagnosis and rectification of mechanical machinery issues

·         Demonstrated experience in maintaining hydraulic and pneumatics systems

·         Ability to perform mechanical gearbox and pump rebuilds

·         Physically fit, enthusiastic, great attitude, self-starter with an attention for detail

·         Possess the ability to work autonomously and use your initiative whilst being a key player in a successful maintenance team

Highly regarded will be:

·         Experience in a demanding industrial/manufacturing environment.

·         Licence to perform High Risk Work (Forklift Licence, EWP).

·         Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
