What they need
Are you a seasoned mechanical expert looking for a role where your experience is respected and your leadership potential is realized? We are seeking a high-caliber Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright to anchor our maintenance team. We aren’t just looking for someone to "fix things”; we are looking for a technical leader who takes pride in a smooth-running plant, values a pristine shop, and enjoys sharing their expertise with the next generation of technicians.
The Opportunity
- Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Transitioning to Mon–Fri as production scales).
- Benefits: Comprehensive package including Medical, Dental, HSA, 401k, and Life Insurance.
- Time Off: 2 weeks of paid vacation available after just 3 months of service.
- Compensation: Depending on experience. OT available.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the team, you will ensure the reliability of our facility through:
- Precision Maintenance: Diagnosis, repair, and optimization of critical plant assets including hammer mills, bucket elevators, gearboxes, augers, motors, sensors, baghouses, fans, wood grinders, and conveyor systems.
- Heavy Equipment: Act as the technician for our mobile equipment including haul trucks, loaders, and forklifts.
- Fabrication: Rebuilding and fabrication of airlocks, fans, elevator belts, and conveyor chains.
- Asset Management: Rigorous execution of the PM program; identifying wear trends and collaborating with the Maintenance Manager on scheduling, parts procurement, and capital projects.
- Operational Leadership: Serving as a mentor to junior staff, championing strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and housekeeping standards.
Candidate Profile
- Experienced: 5+ years in Industrial Maintenance or Millwrighting. (Preferred)
- Reliable: A proven track record of punctuality and professional work history.
- Safety-Minded: A "safety-first" mindset where LOTO and proper PPE are second nature.
- Communicator: The ability to coordinate effectively with management and collaborate with a diverse production team.
- Physical Resilience: Comfortable working in a mill environment, including lifting, heights, and varied weather conditions.
Why join our team?
We don't just "turn wrenches"—we solve problems. We recognize that our Maintenance team is the backbone of our production success. For a candidate with a positive attitude and a drive for excellence, this role is a direct stepping stone into a Foreman or Maintenance Leadership position.
