Maintenance Millwright

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Millwright with strong electrical experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and electrical systems, with a strong commitment to safety and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and align machinery and equipment according to specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance and repair tasks to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment, and install new or repaired parts.
• Perform welding tasks including MIG, TIG, and arc welding to repair or fabricate machine parts and structures.
• Ensure all welding work meets quality and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications to complete assigned tasks.
• Operate various machine tools to fabricate or repair parts, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Adjust and calibrate machinery and equipment to meet operational specifications.-Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure all equipment is operating safely and effectively.
• Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or apprenticeship in millwrighting, electrical and welding.
• Proven experience as a millwright and welder, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
