The Opportunity

We're partnering with a respected not-for-profit aged care provider to recruit a Maintenance Officer for a full-time position within a residential aged care environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining safe and welcoming environments, and wants the stability of a Monday to Friday role.

You'll become part of a supportive team where your work plays an important role in creating a comfortable, safe and well-maintained home for residents, staff and visitors.

Key Information

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• $35.00 per hour (trade qualified) or $30.48 per hour (non-trade)
• Superannuation and salary packaging
• Supportive not-for-profit organisation

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out general building maintenance and repairs
• Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Maintain outdoor areas, gardens and shared spaces
• Liaise with external contractors when required
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting

About You

• Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman or trade role
• Trade qualification highly regarded but not essential
• Practical problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Current driver's licence
• Unrestricted full-time Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
