We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable and hardworking Maintenance Operative to join our established team.

Please note: Although our head office is based in Padiham, Burnley, this is a multi-site role. The successful candidate will be required to travel and work across our business centres throughout the North West, including locations as far as Liverpool. Applicants must be flexible and willing to travel between sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Operative, you will play an important role in maintaining the quality, appearance and functionality of our properties. Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out general repairs and maintenance tasks to a high standard.
• Painting, decorating and ensuring all areas are well-maintained and presentable.
• Undertaking gardening, landscaping and general external maintenance duties.
• Attending different business centres across the North West to carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Identifying maintenance issues and taking a proactive approach to resolving them.
• Supporting the wider team with a variety of maintenance-related activities.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

• Have proven experience in general maintenance or a related field (essential).
• Be confident undertaking a variety of general repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrate a proactive, 'can-do' attitude and take ownership of their work.
• Be enthusiastic, reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Have excellent attention to detail and take pride in their workmanship.
• Be flexible and willing to travel between our different business centre locations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in general maintenance, repairs and/or a similar role is essential.
• A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
• Must be willing and able to travel and work across multiple sites throughout the North West, including Liverpool.
• Flexibility to attend different locations depending on operational and maintenance requirements.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8.30am – 5.00pm

Friday: 8.30am – 4.00pm
