What they need
About The Role Maintenance Planner plays an important role in supporting safe, reliable operations by ensuring aircraft maintenance is organized, on-time, and aligned with customer needs. Experience in aviation planning is not required for this position. Training and support are provided, and success comes from having strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. This is a role where accuracy and organization matter, and you’ll be part of a team that works closely together to keep things running smoothly. If you enjoy structured, computer-based work, collaborating with others, and contributing to a process where every detail counts, this role may be a strong fit.
What You’ll Do As a Maintenance Planner, you’ll:
- Monitor flight schedules and coordinate with other departments to support maintenance needs.
- Serve as a main point of contact for customers on planning and scheduling matters.
- Review, organize, and prepare customer work packages for accuracy and completeness.
- Use planning tools and systems such as AMOS to build and maintain digital records.
- Track milestones, monitor progress, and provide updates to management.
- Work closely with multiple departments to ensure requirements are met and processes run smoothly.
What We’re Looking For You do not need prior planning experience to be considered. What matters most is your willingness to learn, your ability to stay organized, and your comfort working in a computer-based environment.
Successful skills to have in this role are:
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office suites, especially Outlook.
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Adaptable and flexible in a changing environment.
- Confident in making sound decisions.
Work Environment This role is based in-office and closely connected to a maintenance environment. You will work alongside other departments where communication and teamwork are essential. Noise levels are generally moderate, reflecting the activity of a busy operation.
