What they need

Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is a consortium comprising of industry leading Tier 1 organisations - John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. We are helping our client, Sydney Water, to deliver a $34 billion dollar program over a 10-year contract, providing design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services across their southern region - from Bondi to Gerringong, and out to the Georges River National Park

When you join D4C, you'll be joining a team of 700+ employees, all helping to provide services that are vital to Sydney Water's customers' quality of life, and to safeguard Sydney's future by maintaining a sustainable water supply and protecting our iconic waterways.

About the opportunity

Enjoy the energy and convenience of working in Bondi, backed by a secure, long-term pipeline of interesting and challenging projects. You'll be part of a workplace where safety, innovation and collaboration are encouraged, recognised and rewarded.

You'll be based onsite at Bondi Treatment Plant, bringing people, materials, equipment and priorities together so maintenance work is planned safely, efficiently and effectively.

  • Coordinate planned and preventative maintenance programs for the Operations Maintenance Team and subcontractors.
  • Build and drive weekly and monthly work schedules, keeping safety, contract KPIs and delivery timeframes front of mind.
  • Work closely with D4C, Sydney Water and subcontractor stakeholders to prioritise requests and ensure maintenance tasks are attended to promptly.
  • Plan each job end to end, confirming site access, materials, labour, specialist subcontractors and equipment are ready when needed.
  • Arrange specialist equipment for priority work orders, including vacuum trucks, bypass pumps, generators, cranes and gas specialists.
  • Prepare labour-hour, material and subcontractor cost estimates for work orders.
  • Use maintenance management systems effectively and keep records accurate, accessible and easy to retrieve.
  • Monitor contract vehicles and mobile plant maintenance, escalating discrepancies to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Identify opportunities to improve preventative maintenance, contract performance and self-delivery of maintenance tasks.
  • Provide coverage to Sydney Water's Emergency Control Centre during triggered 24/7 wet-weather events when required.

About you

  • Experience in a similar planning or scheduling role within maintenance - Water industry experience is highly regarded.
  • A calm, practical approach to problem-solving in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective response strategies.
  • Sound knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems.
  • Experience working within clearly defined quality requirements.
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

If you're organised, solutions-focused and enjoy bringing people together to get work moving, you'll feel at home in this role. We're looking for a positive, consultative team player who can turn plans into outcomes.

The benefits of working with D4C

At D4C you'll enjoy a secure, long-term pipeline of interesting and challenging projects, where safety, innovation and collaboration are encouraged, recognised and rewarded.

  • Permanent employment in one of our parent companies, with the potential for future work after the Sydney Water contract
  • Personal and professional development training
  • Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
