Maintenance Planning Supervisor

Job Overview

Maintenance planning supervisor's job involves managing the planning and scheduling of all maintenance and repair activities for a facility, Mold maintenance, Machine shop fabrication and Production equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Key duties include developing preventative maintenance programs, leading maintenance teams, maintaining inventory and budgets, ensuring compliance with safety and company regulations, and utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work and generate reports. Achieving the target OEE and PM compliance.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the maintenance team, assigning tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow
• Coordinates with Production Planning Head aligning the Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
• Developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs (Corrective Maintenance and Emergency Repairs) of production machine, auxiliary machine, mold maintenance and machine shop fabrication, and managing work orders and corresponding purchase requisition.
• Update PM program on CMMS, frequency and scope of works and inclusion of corresponding parts details and quantity for replacement for particular PM schedule or running hours.
• Conducting routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and maintenance needs.
• Enforcing safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for the team.
• Overseeing inventory of spare parts and supplies, managing budgets.
• Monitoring of PR to PO of insurance parts and other related engineering projects materials
• Providing guidance and training to maintenance staff in CMMS and SAP utilization, fostering their professional growth
• Effectively communicating with senior management, providing reports on maintenance activities and performance which includes updates on engineering KPIs eg: PM/CM Ratio, Work Order Compliance, Machine Breakdown Analysis, R&M Cost

What we're looking for

• Engineering graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics, or a 2-year technical graduate with at least two years of experience in industrial machinery maintenance or electromechanical skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Skilled in mechanical troubleshooting, equipment installation, and repair of thermoforming, extrusion, and peripheral machinery.
• Experienced with electrical systems, including PLCs, inverters, motor controls, and pneumatics.
• Proficient in CAD, Excel, and Word.
