Maintenance Plumber

Your Opportunity

In this role as a Maintenance Plumber,  you will play an important role in keeping Council’s facilities, infrastructure and essential services operating safely and efficiently. Working as part of our team, you will undertake a range of plumbing maintenance, repairs and installation works across Council assets throughout the Southern Downs region. This is an opportunity to use  your trade skills in a varied role, whilst maintaining a courteous and professional manner when dealing with customers at all times.

STATUS:

Permanent, Full-time

HOURS OF WORK:

76 hours per fortnight | 9-day fortnight

PAY LEVEL:

$2,725.06 per fortnight (Level 6) + Construction Allowance ($84.70 per fortnight) + Above Award Payment ($205.74 per fortnight)

Plus 12% Superannuation and 17.5% Annual Leave Loading in accordance with Council’s Enterprise Agreement and the relevant Award.

MANDATORY LICENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

• A Class C (car) licence or greater is required in this role.
• A current Plumbing & Drainage Licence (Queensland).
• An Occupational Health & Safety Construction Induction Card (White Card); or the ability to obtain.
• Immunisation record indicating Hepatitis A&B vaccinations or immunity; or the ability to be vaccinated.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a small team and with limited supervision.
