Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor/Lead Maintenance Professional is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems and equipment throughout our 5-star long-term care community. This individual will assist with maintenance initiatives, troubleshoot facility issues, and work collaboratively with team members to support exceptional resident care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of maintenance experience in a long-term care, healthcare, or hospital setting
• Previous experience as a Lead Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or similar leadership role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to general building maintenance
• Working knowledge of TELS and Spiceworks systems
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and work order management
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general facility repairs
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to maintenance emergencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also functioning independently

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related issues in a timely manner
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules
• Monitor facility equipment and building systems to ensure optimal performance
• Assist with regulatory compliance and life safety requirements
• Maintain accurate records and work orders utilizing TELS and Spiceworks
• Coordinate with department leaders to address maintenance requests and facility needs
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors
