What they need
As a Project Manager for Maintenance Contracts, you will bridge the gap between initial project delivery and ongoing operational excellence. Your focus is to manage the lifecycle of service agreements, ensuring that our customers receive the high-quality support and technical expertise they expect from a global leader in industrial innovation.
A Day in Your Life
Your routine involves a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on coordination. You will act as the primary point of contact for maintenance contract execution, coordinating with technical teams to schedule preventive maintenance, upgrades, and emergency interventions. You will monitor service level agreements (SLAs), review performance metrics, and lead regular progress meetings with clients to ensure their assets are performing optimally. Much of your time is spent translating technical requirements into actionable project plans that align with the customer’s operational schedule.
Key Challenges
Balancing the immediate needs of reactive maintenance with the long-term planning of scheduled service cycles requires high levels of adaptability. You will navigate complex industrial environments where downtime must be minimized, meaning your ability to manage resources efficiently under tight deadlines is critical. Aligning diverse stakeholder expectations while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards remains a constant priority.
Growth & Career Opportunities
Joining Yokogawa in this new position offers a unique chance to shape how maintenance projects are managed within the Hungarian market. As you demonstrate success in optimizing contract delivery, you will have opportunities to take on larger, multi-site service portfolios or transition into senior strategic management roles. We prioritize internal development, providing access to global knowledge networks and specialized training in project management methodologies.
Team & Culture
Based in Budapest, you will join a team that values technical precision and a proactive mindset. The culture is built on the principle of co-innovation, where every team member is encouraged to suggest improvements to our service delivery models. You will work alongside experienced engineers and service coordinators who value clear communication and mutual support in a professional, focused atmosphere.
Who You Are
You are a structured professional with a background in managing technical projects or service contracts, preferably within an industrial or engineering context. You possess the ability to read and interpret complex contracts while maintaining a clear view of the practical, technical work required on-site. Your communication style is transparent and persuasive, allowing you to build trust with both internal technical teams and external client stakeholders.
What You'll Do & What You Bring
→ Oversee the full execution of maintenance contracts from inception through to renewal. → Coordinate service resources and technical personnel to meet contractual obligations. → Manage project budgets, timelines, and documentation for all service activities. → Ensure all maintenance work complies with local Hungarian safety regulations and quality standards. → You bring a degree in engineering, business, or a related field, coupled with proven experience in project management. → You are fluent in Hungarian and have a strong professional command of English.
