This global automotive manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Projects & Facilities Supervisor to join its engineering function at a highly automated manufacturing facility. The successful Maintenance Projects & Facilities Supervisor will take ownership of site facilities, utilities, building services and capital projects, whilst leading a small team to ensure the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the plant. The role will involve managing contractors, overseeing maintenance and improvement projects, controlling budgets, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring all facilities and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards. Maintenance Projects & Facilities Supervisor requirements

• Previous experience in a Facilities Supervisor, Facilities Manager, Maintenance Supervisor or Engineering Supervisor position
• Proven experience managing projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience overseeing contractors and external service providers
• Strong understanding of facilities maintenance, utilities and building services
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation and contractor control procedures
• Experience managing budgets, quotations and project expenditure
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable experience

• Automotive manufacturing or Tier 1 supplier experience
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health & safety qualification
• Facilities Management qualification
• CAPEX project delivery experience
• Knowledge of HVAC, compressors, boilers, cranes and utility systems
• HV/LV electrical infrastructure exposure
• Building fabric and site services management
• HNC/HND or Degree in an Engineering discipline
