Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and upkeep of our building infrastructure and equipment. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair and troubleshoot electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and mechanical devices using schematics, hand tools, electrical equipment repair techniques, and specialized tools such as ohmmeters.
• Conduct welding and carpentry tasks as needed for repairs or modifications within the facility.
• Maintain facilities equipment by performing maintenance painting, building interior upkeep, and general repairs to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all maintenance activities while providing excellent customer service to internal teams and external vendors.
• Assist with the repair of electrical equipment and HVAC systems, including system troubleshooting, component replacement, and system upgrades.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory to support operational efficiency.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with a strong background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, welding, carpentry, and mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical equipment repair, maintenance painting, residential painting, plumbing system maintenance & repair.
• Ability to operate hand tools effectively as well as specialized electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters.
• Experience with facilities equipment maintenance including HVAC systems and building interior upkeep.
• Supervising experience or demonstrated leadership skills in a maintenance environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
• Knowledge of Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO) practices to ensure efficient upkeep of tools and supplies.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics and manuals accurately for troubleshooting purposes.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• Maintenance in a LTC setting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Boiler License (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
