Maintenance Staff

Overview

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Maintenance Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various facilities and equipment within our property, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment. This role requires a proactive individual with a broad skill set in building maintenance, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, and interior upkeep. Prior hotel maintenance experience is preferred, especially within the hospitality industry such as Hyatt properties. Familiarity with using B.O.B. to log repairs and complete work orders is highly desirable. Additionally, experience with pool maintenance is a plus.

Duties

• Perform electrical work including troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues across the facility
• Maintain and repair facilities equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Use hand tools effectively for various repair and maintenance tasks
• Service and repair HVAC systems, including installing and fixing air conditioning units
• Conduct building interior maintenance such as painting, patching, and general upkeep
• Maintain plumbing systems, addressing leaks and performing necessary repairs
• Handle plumbing system maintenance and repairs efficiently
• Conduct carpet cleaning and other routine cleaning tasks as needed
• Assist with pool maintenance to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Log all repairs, maintenance activities, and work orders accurately using B.O.B. or similar systems

Experience

• Prior experience in hotel or hospitality maintenance preferred, especially at properties like Hyatt
• Proven ability to handle a variety of maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and interior repairs
• Experience installing and repairing AC units, fixing plumbing leaks, troubleshooting electrical issues, and performing general building repairs
• Familiarity with using hand tools for maintenance work
• Pool maintenance experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of logging repairs and completing work orders through B.O.B. or equivalent systems

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
