Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of property systems and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all occupants. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills across a variety of maintenance tasks, supporting the overall functionality of our properties in the Hocking Hills region.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on structural integrity, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair and troubleshoot electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and building interior components using schematics, hand tools, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters.
• Carpentry tasks to repair or modify structural elements as needed.
• Maintain property appliances, aesthetic appearance and equipment including HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures and electrical panels.
• Execute maintenance projects to uphold the aesthetic standards of interior spaces.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Driving is required to properly perform all responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities, property maintenance or related roles with a strong background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and technical manuals; experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
• Knowledge of maintenance painting techniques and carpentry skills for building interior upkeep.
• Ability to operate electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot electrical equipment repair issues effectively.
• Strong understanding of plumbing system maintenance and repair procedures.
• Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and provide clear instructions or updates.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Efficiency in driving a Company vehicle with a Valid Driver's License.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
