Hotel Maintenance Technician Multi-Property Hotel Maintenance Team | Greater Virginia Area

We are building a dependable, professional hotel maintenance team serving properties throughout the Greater Virginia area, including Henrico, Midlothian, Chester, Petersburg, and surrounding communities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys variety, solving problems, and keeping hotel properties safe, comfortable, and operating at their best. Our maintenance team will support multiple hotel locations, working closely with hotel managers and property staff to respond to repairs, preventative maintenance, and day-to-day building needs.

What You'll Do

• Perform maintenance and repairs at multiple hotel properties throughout the Greater Richmond area.
• Respond to guest-room and staff maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Inspect guest rooms, common areas, mechanical rooms, and building systems.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to help keep properties in excellent condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors, locks, lighting, furniture, walls, fixtures, and other building components.
• Identify larger building or equipment issues and report them to the appropriate manager.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
• Keep accurate records of completed maintenance and repair work.
• Communicate and coordinate with hotel managers, department leaders, and property staff.
• Travel between hotel properties as needed to address maintenance needs.
• Follow all hotel, company, and safety procedures.
• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with guests and hotel staff.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in hotel, apartment, commercial, or building maintenance preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of building systems and hotel equipment.
• Experience with guest-room repairs and preventative maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work independently while prioritizing multiple maintenance requests.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
• Willingness and ability to travel between multiple hotel properties.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and perform physical maintenance duties.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and available for emergency maintenance issues when required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC experience or certification.
• Electrical or plumbing experience.
• Previous hotel maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 certification is a plus.
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems, boilers, water heaters, or pool equipment is a plus.
