Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams.
• Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and other critical systems.
• Use hand tools and electrical testing devices to diagnose problems accurately and execute repairs efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities while adhering to industry standards for electrical work, plumbing repairs, and mechanical tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspection reports for compliance purposes.
• Assist with maintenance painting projects to ensure the building’s interior remains fresh and inviting.
• Read schematics and technical manuals to understand complex systems for troubleshooting or upgrades.
• Support leadership in managing maintenance schedules and prioritizing urgent repairs to minimize downtime.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, and building interior upkeep.
• Experience with electrical equipment repair including panels, wiring, circuit breakers.
• Strong understanding of plumbing system maintenance including pipe repairs, fixture replacements, leak detection, and system diagnostics.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and coordination with team members or contractors.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or lead small teams on specific projects or repairs.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
