Maintenance Supervisor (Building Services)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise team members to perform the routine building facilities inspection, maintenance and repairing works;
• Lead and train up the subordinates for strengthening the team competency;
• Ensure compliance of the building services systems with the relevant legislative requirements;
• Review, develop, execute and monitor the proper maintenance and operating procedures;
• To carry emergency repair works at different departments;
• Assist, coordinate with different departments on the maintenance works and the carrying out of the works
• Assist different departments to identify and formulate repair items, to secure proper and qualify tenderers for quotations and/or tenders.
• Coordinate with consultants, assist the out-sourcing works and evaluate the performance of contractors for any in-house projects;
• Serve and deal with different departments for following up the tasks as requested;
• Provide and respond to the technical support for any ad hoc or emergency issues when necessary;
• Handle documentation and reports writing for related job orders status;
• Manage the stock of the Maintenance Division and the issuance of payment vouchers;
• Assign staff duty roster and job allocation.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Certificate holder of Building Services studies or equivalent;
• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker Grade B or above and Construction Industry Safety Training;
• At least 5 years supervisory and relevant job experience in building maintenance/repairing works including fire, plumbing, electrical, air-conditioning and ventilation;
• Possess job exposure to the hospitality/catering/recreational sector is advantageous;
• Knowledge of PC skills (MS Word, Excel and Chinese word processing) is an asset;
• Able to communicate in English & Chinese.
