Maintenance Supervisor

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS: Supervises, leads, and coaches direct reports to meet maintenance standards and goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Hands on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and troubleshooting experience.

· Oversees maintenance department to support production activities for multiple shifts (24 hours /7 days per week).

· Maintains maximum production and quality by making correct adjustments

· Supports operations by maintaining equipment at optimal condition

· Schedules preventative maintenance on equipment per plan

· Assists with plant maintenance, repairs, and installation operations as needed

· Troubleshoots and determines appropriate repairs, maintain machinery and mechanical equipment

· Manages all maintenance techs, parts room, and pm crew associates

· Assists with continuous improvement initiatives and process improvement

· Assures that production operates efficiently at peak performance

· Ensures that our CMMS system contains up to date information for work orders, preventative maintenance, and spare parts.

· Spearheads continual improvement projects and general overhauls to ensure maximum equipment availability for production.

· Works with plant scheduling to setup equipment downtimes for PMs or overhauls

QUALIFICATIONS

· Maintenance Supervision: 5 years (Required)

· Metals Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)

· Maintains a safe and clean work environment

· Ability to communicate to all levels of personnel / management

· Self-motivated, organized, and team oriented

· Adheres to all safety policies and procedures

· Ability to lead people and get results though others

· Ability to think ahead and plan over a 3-6 month time span.

· Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

· Ability to work around hot metal equipment, on lift equipment, and in high places.

· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form
