Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams to perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing systems, and high/low voltage equipment.
• Develop and manage maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Troubleshoot engineering issues by interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals; utilize tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment for accurate troubleshooting.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations including OSHA standards; conduct safety audits and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
• Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs by coordinating resources, scheduling tasks, and tracking progress to meet operational deadlines.
• Oversee the management of facilities maintenance procedures in accordance with industry best practices; review work quality and provide training on maintenance repair procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance using CMMS software; generate reports for management review.
• Supervise the procurement of parts and supplies necessary for ongoing maintenance tasks while controlling costs and inventory levels.
• Foster a team-oriented environment by providing leadership, coaching, and supervising team members to ensure high performance standards.

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience managing facilities or industrial maintenance teams within manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems such as HVAC units, plumbing systems, electrical systems (including high voltage), and industrial machinery.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical troubleshooting techniques, and engineering troubleshooting methods.
• Experience working with CMMS platforms for work order management and record keeping.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to industrial maintenance; ability to implement safety protocols effectively.
• Demonstrated project management skills including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking project milestones.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing, documentation, and communication purposes.
• Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately; experience using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters is essential.
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills in English; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
