What they need

Keep Production Running. Build a Maintenance Team That Prevents Problems Before They Happen. As the Maintenance Supervisor at MasterSpas, you'll lead the people responsible for keeping our production equipment, building systems, and facilities safe, reliable, and operational. You'll be a leader, coach, technical resource, problem-solver, and decision-maker—and your team's performance will have a direct impact on the entire manufacturing operation. If you're technically strong but also understand that your greatest impact as a supervisor comes from developing people, setting priorities, and creating accountability, this is the kind of leadership role where you can make a difference.

What You'll Do Some days, the priority will be a machine that needs immediate attention. Other days, the most important thing you can do is make sure the machine doesn't become tomorrow's emergency. Your job is to create the balance.

Lead The People Who Keep Us Running You'll lead the Maintenance Team every day—but leadership here means more than handing out work orders. You'll:

  • Set priorities based on safety, production needs, equipment condition, and operational impact.
  • Assign work based on technician skills, experience, workload, and urgency.
  • Follow up to make sure repairs aren't just done—they're done correctly.
  • Coach and develop technicians to strengthen their technical capabilities.
  • Identify skill gaps and create opportunities for cross-training and development.
  • Establish clear expectations around attendance, performance, communication, documentation, safety, and response time.
  • Address performance concerns when expectations aren't being met.
  • Build a team culture centered around professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and MasterSpas' Core Values.

Be the Technical Leader When the Problem Gets Complicated Sometimes a technician needs another set of eyes. Sometimes Production needs an answer. And sometimes the equipment has everyone scratching their heads.

You'll provide technical support on complex or recurring issues involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, automation, and other industrial systems. You'll also support machinery installation, modification, relocation, and commissioning.

We're looking for someone who can walk up to a problem and start asking: What failed? Why did it fail? What changed? Has this happened before? And what do we need to do so it doesn't happen again?

Make Preventive Maintenance Actually Preventive PMs shouldn't just be boxes we check.

You'll oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities and make sure scheduled work is completed, documented, and closed appropriately.

You'll use maintenance history, inspections, parts usage, and equipment condition to help your team understand where attention is needed before downtime happens.

Make Safety Non-Negotiable There are shortcuts you simply don't take in industrial maintenance.

You'll enforce proper Lockout/Tagout procedures, partner with Safety and Production on equipment hazards and corrective actions, keep maintenance work and storage areas safe and organized, and coordinate equipment or utility shutdowns when necessary to protect employees and the facility.

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who brings technical credibility and leadership ability to the same role. Knowing how to troubleshoot equipment matters. But so does knowing how to develop the technician standing next to you.

You'll Likely Be Successful If You

  • Have significant hands-on industrial maintenance experience; 5+ years is preferred.
  • Have previous supervisory, lead, or demonstrated maintenance leadership experience.
  • Have strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Know how to troubleshoot industrial machinery and production equipment.
  • Have knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, welding, automation components, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Can read electrical schematics, blueprints, fabrication drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Understand preventive maintenance programs and work-order management.
  • Are a strong root-cause problem solver.
  • Can communicate effectively with technicians, Production leaders, Engineering, Safety, and other departments.

What You Can Expect This is a hands-on manufacturing leadership role. You won't spend your entire day sitting behind a desk—and you won't spend your entire day turning wrenches either.

You'll move between leading people, troubleshooting equipment, coordinating priorities, reviewing maintenance work, partnering with Production, improving processes, and planning ahead.

The environment is physical and industrial. You'll work around machinery, electrical systems, manufacturing equipment, indoor and outdoor areas, and non-temperature-controlled environments. The role also requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, use ladders and lifts, and assist with moving 50+ pounds when necessary.

Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to build something beyond repaired equipment: A stronger Maintenance Team. A more reliable operation. And a culture that solves problems before they become emergencies.
